Hi Ho Hi Ho ...or Ho Ho Ho it's one of those,
couple of things to catch up on , thanks to our speakers on the 27th Nov
Simon Penrose about the communications situation & advising us not to navigate with our mobile 'phone unless you are on an appropriate plan. & to Robyn Clark reminding us to floss nightly!
Last week Tony gave an interesting and indepth business analysis.
We should be more back up to full numbers this week for our Xmas breakup so we will need numbers for catering, I will request an email confirmation as an attachment to this blog advice.
Prior to that we have our mixer/ shopping event at Monette's this Wednesday evening for those of you who have RSVP'd. 5.30 to 8.30 pm at the Shop.
Our resumption date next year is 15th January.

Hi everybody,
Don't forget to bring some business cards if you didn't last week!!

John from QAS gave a great insite into Heart Attacks, and we thank him for his time and to Audrey who arranged it.
Also our visitor - Ali Palmer from Escape Travel, please make her feel welcome next week.

Speakers:
Thanks to Richard Jones for his knowledge of the court process from Small claims through to the Supreme Court. Let's stay away from them.
And also to Ngaire , on a brighter topic, practical tips and encouragement with Baby Massage. Was that "1st cold pressed extra virgin olive oil"?
Next week we have a guest speaker courtesy of Audrey : John Murray from QAS.

Welcome to the new Management Team Of Edward, Tom & Tony, and a big THANK YOU to the outgoing team of RICHARD , NGAIRE, & NICOLA. You guys have done a wonderful job and will be a hard act to follow. We are now more computerised & that is a tribute to the team & especially Ngaire.

Wow what a week !
A large number of us met at the Chalk Hotel on Tuesday night with LISA BENTSON the CEO of Leads in the USA. Lisa is the daughter of the founder ALI LASSEN. The event was hosted by our Australian President CATHERINE LONERGAN. Great night and "Leads Success" was the Qld & Australian winner of "highest $ amount generated for the year" Well done all and also congratulations to Ngaire & Audrey for their individual awards.
Thursday's meeting was well represented & David Pratt gave a talk on the CRA credit rating file implications & how to access your information. Important to keep up to date with your personal info that is in the public domain.
Audrey reinforced the benefits of regular servicing & also spoke of the problem with car financing.
Good luck with "The Cup" & see you all this week.

Blog... wow don't push the enter button part way though a blog.
Mixers : As well as Audrey, Monette has set aside the evening of 10th December 6 - 8 pm for a mixer/ shopping event.
Please advise Audrey & Monette of numbers.
Mugs: Thanks to Sue fro Mobile Computing for my new office mug, getting good reviews and tinges of jealousy, and is also advertising "Mobile Computing".
Speakers:
Julia gave a great presentation on "Nutrimetics" .. some history and info on the available "products". I didn't know they grew apricots in the Himalayas, not that I really cared, but a good story about the Nutrimetics Ruby Anniversary and re enforcing the sales system that has helped empower women with Party Plan innovations etc. Thanks Julia.
Janice tried to calm our fears about the global crisis, if only we can know when it bottoms, then we can all invest our tightly held cash.

Mixers: Libby had a "delightful" mixer yesterday, although some of us (?) failed to respond to the RSVP......... thanks LibbyNext one is At The Chalk Hotel on Tuesday 28th with our International Rep from USA & also the new owners from Sydney. .......also requires an RSVP.Audrey has one shortly & flyer is promised this week!Thanks to Callum Jones of Richard fame to help with our new site.Speakers:Back up Back up Back up .... was the message from Mobile Computing , great presentation & a timely reminder to us all.Dave Williams had us all riveted with his "Lost Family Story" ... we all hope for continuing good outcome for Dave and it also shows the comfort level we have with each other as trusted comrades, that allows Dave to tell his story at an open forum.
